Early-1990s PEUGEOT 1100 Team Line (Vitus Carbone) 56cm Sachs-Huret

The listing

This very rare frame was constructed in partnership with Vitus, using carbon tubes bonded to aluminum lugs. Frame is very light, and joints are nice and tight! I built up this bicycle with appropriate French parts, primarily the Sachs-Huret "New Success" 8-speed group and Mavic wheels. Specs: Sachs New Success 8-speed group, including: CRANKSET (53/39t, 170mm), DERAILLEURS, BRAKE/SHIFT LEVERS and BRAKES; BOTTOM BRACKET- MAVIC; HEADSET- Tange; HANDLEBAR- Philippe Franco Italia D352 (40cm) with NEW cork bar tape; STEM- Atax (90mm); SEATPOST- Kalloy); SADDLE- Leader Cosmic; WHEELSET- Mavic Cosmos with 8-speed cassette (12-21t) and NEW Michelin Dynamic Classic tires I have been building/restoring/refurbishing bicycles (vintage and modern) in my basement shop for over a dozen years and always have a few listed on craigslist.
