Sunday, July 26, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday, July 27, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Premises is alarmed and valuables are stored in extremely secure vault and at our Citibank safe deposit boxes. The entire showroom and (inside and out) is under 24 hour off-site video monitoring and recording. Orinda police have also been notified to patrol. Methods of payment: Cash, Credit Card, or Check if we know you well. Cash will expedite the payment process. Sales tax will be collected if you do not provide a valid California Resale Permit Number. As we are updating our resale information files, please bring us a copy of your resale number if you have one. Sales tax rate in Orinda is 9.75%. No early sales. (Meaning not before we open on Sunday morning.) If there are many people waiting in line Sunday morning, we will try and open early to start the flow of customers. Do not leave your place in line! We may open as much as 1/2 hour early. Rain or Shine! There is a covered waiting area if it rains. Please form line down the sidewalk as the other businesses will not be open on Sunday. Please do not remove price tags from any items. If you wish to buy an item place a “sold “ sticker (with your name and telephone number on it) to the desired item. Or write your name, telephone number, and SOLD on front of the price tag. All sold stickers must have a telephone number, if they do not, the item will not be considered sold. Do not put a sold sticker or write SOLD on any item that you are not 100% sure about buying. We can help you load your furniture purchases, though we cannot be liable for any damage to your vehicle from said furniture. Rick will be available to give quotes for delivery, though Lugg is a great option. Bring furniture pads/blankets. Also, please bring shopping bags and boxes for the items you purchase. Remember that all items are sold as-is with no returns or exchanges. All sales are final. Cases/Jewelry Counters: We are able to serve 3 customers at a time at the jewelry/smalls cases. If you would like to view/purchase items in the cases, please take a number from the number dispenser located immediately to your right when you enter the front door. Do not stand at the jewelry counters unless your number has been called. We will be limiting each customers time at the cases to a maximum of 10 minutes per person, unless you are actively purchasing items. Rules for estate sale line up, list, waiting, and entrance procedures: The first person to arrive at the sale may start an entry list. This person and any person signing the list there after must remain in the immediate area to keep their space in line. Do not sign up anyone who is not present. Sleeping in your vehicle is fine, though make sure you are visible to others waiting in line, and you must be parked in the lot directly in front of our storefront. Going to the local coffee shop to get a drink or use a restroom is allowable. Leaving the area and then coming back later is not. If you decide to leave the immediate area to use a restroom or get a drink/eat, let another person (that is also waiting for the sale to start) know that you are doing so. We cannot forcefully administer this policy or the list, so we ask that you police yourselves, and abide by the above rules or please pass on our sales.
